Abrams’ “Lost” almost had a completely different cast

Line of Events

Survivors of a plane crash are forced to work together to survive on a seemingly deserted tropical island. See which A-listers missed out on one of the most popular TV shows of all time, originally intended to be an older, smooth urban con artist from Buffalo, NY. However, when Josh Holloway forgot a line during an audition and then kicked a chair in frustration and swore loudly, the writers liked the edge he brought to the Sawyer character and decided to write Sawyer as a darker Southern drifter instead… Jin and Sun are married and share the last name “Kwon”, which becomes a major plot point in the final season. However, when Koreans marry, the wife never takes her husband’s surname. In fact, it’s not even legal to marry someone with the same last name in Korea, except in rare cases.

[sentence repeated] Desmond Hume: See you in another life, brother. The strange opening credits were written by J.J. Abrams on his laptop designed in black and white as an homage to The Twilight Zone. Unless you live in complete isolation, you must have heard of the hit series LOST. You’ve seen the preview, read the 5-star reviews, and heard the water cooler talk about it. If you haven’t started watching the series yet, you might be wondering if you should start.

If you like shows with humor, you’ll love LOST

Let’s put it this way: If you like action shows, you’ll love LOST. If you like shows with complex characters and interactions, you’ll love LOST. If you like series with drama, mystery and suspense, you will love LOST. If you like shows that allow you to watch an episode twice and see it through completely different eyes, you’ll love LOST. If you like series where every single scene has a meaning… Get it?

At first there is confusion

It’s simple: if you’ve ever enjoyed a TV series, you’ll be addicted. LOST is a series about a plane crash on a mysterious island. 48 people survive, but the focus of the series is 14 people, all of whom have secrets. But as the show progresses, friendships develop and we learn that there’s more to the island than meets the eye… The characters are fantastic – don’t pay attention to those who say the cast is so diverse it’s cliché, because these they are probably the same people who would criticize it if everything was white. In short: check it out.

Why aren’t you watching?

Unless you’re one of those tiny people who gets a hernia if every detail in the first episode is off, you’ll be hooked. Otherwise I have to ask a question… 10/10
